I wish his fans would smarten up. They bailed him out last year, and he now needs thousands of more dollars. Next year will undoubtedly be exactly the same. They're already providing a large chunk of his income, they've bought him a PS4 and a TV and most of the games he's played lately, but they are still expected to pay his taxes and credit card debt as well. This guy is human garbage.

So I'm almost done with his State of the Stream video and I'm at the point where he's crying. I do have to say that I feel kind of bad for the guy, but I find it a bit, um, suspicious that he started to do the crying stuff after someone tips him $100 for saying DSP is making him feel bad.

He hyped this up by saying that he was going to reveal behind the scenes things that he couldn't tell us before and that there were potentially big changes coming. The behind the scenes thing was a little more info on what happened with Curse (which sounds like a bunch of lies anyway), and if there were major changes announced, I must have missed it (although, to be fair, I haven't watched the end of his State of the Stream Address yet). His plan is to keep doing exactly what he has been doing--a model that clearly is not working--and hope that his fans will give him $16,000 in addition to what they are already expected to give him over the next several months.

He did nothing wrong. Everybody loves his content. His streams are positive, and he no longer engages with trolls or involves himself in drama. Everything is the fault of the detractors.

JFC Phil.

He wants 16k ON TOP of what he already makes, just like that. Yet there seems zero indication that he is going to do anything to achieve this goal, other than keep doing the exact same thing he has done for the last fucking decade.

He is not going to budget, he is not going to stop buying expensive meals, energy drinks, etc. He is going to keep his business degree internet that costs 400 dollars that adds fucking nothing. He isn't going to get rid of the car, he is going to keep buying day one 60 dollar releases. From what I have seen, he is going to make no fucking attempt to do anything to improve his situation.

And what really infuriated me, his parents offered to pay and fly him out to them, just so he can spend time with them. Then says he can't, because fuck knows why, and then transitions into a sob story that he would love to see them ond last time. Bitch is acting like they have one foot in the grave already. They are likely in their late 50s or early 60s. It almost feels like he is banking on them dying so he can collect insurance.

I just can't with this guy. All, and I do mean all, of his problems can be solved so easily:

Sell his Washington house and move back to the condo, that cuts down his expensea to average living levels. One internet line is all he needs, not 2. Atop pissing money down the drain. GET A FUCKING JOB, this will provide him with stable and reliable income, insurance and benefits and start building a 401k. Sell all the frivolous shit he doesn't need. Contact the fucking IRS to agree on a payment.

Be a goddamn fucking adult for once in your life, and take some responsability, instead of having others literally pay for your lifestyle and debts.

I know I shouldn't get angry over him, but the sob story abotlut his parents really got to me.

It's hard not to get upset over some of this stuff. My parents are getting older and aren't in great health anymore--should people give me money because of that? Most of his problems are things that everybody else has to deal with. We're not all Twitch streamers, but we have to worry about employment, taxes, debt, relationships, health problems. But he thinks he can cry and say "I don't know what to do," and his fans should just step up and pay to make his problems go away... like they did last year. Hell, this guy could be making $500,000 a year and he would still be in debt and begging his fans to pay his taxes.

I went to check out Tevin's stream and lol - you're right. I do feel odd about Tevin though, like there is something going on with him. 99% of his videos are on DSP, which are hours long. I get the occasional mocking, but this guy is going above and beyond that.

He seems to legitimately enjoy it. Whereas Phil constantly claims his streams are a chill place to hang out, Tevin's streams actually are chill. I'd much rather watch a Tevin restream than Phil's raw content.

I know it will never happen, but if Phil could set aside his ego and actually watch one of Tevin's videos, he would find some useful tips for improving his stream. A lot of the things that Tevin mocks--ie: Phil banning people for the flimsiest of reasons, snorting into the mic, going minutes without commentary, constantly getting baited by cheers, and so on--are areas that Phil could work on to make his content more palatable to a general audience.
