Doing so would be ridiculously simple to implement, even as just a difficulty that modifies IVs/EVs/Natures/Levels (and maybe AI and moveset depending).

They did, twice at least.
Pokemon Stadium 1 & 2 are balls hard. Especially rental only, especially Round 2. I say twice because I haven't played like... Colosseum and ... the other console games. --- ... Copied to Clipboard!

I downloaded that episode and played it a bit but haven't played through it honestly. I have no idea if she's made any new ones since. Anyway, Nintendo not having different difficulty settings is why I don't buy their first party games any more like Mario,LoZ, etc. Their games are too easy. --- ... Copied to Clipboard!

Stadium is the hardest game in the entire franchise
Stadium 2 is still balls hard but comparatively the only real challenge is the one with random teams (though what move sets and stats every random Pokemon has is set, limited pool and whatnot) --- Pew pew! ... Copied to Clipboard!
