Even found out just now they have Dutch subs for it, on the official Dutch site. (Random checking shows the same for French and German)

Why are the US directs the odd one out?

Nintendo doesn't know how to be a worldwide company.

What do you mean?

Subbing in the various European languages, instead of only giving English as an option, seems very internationally friendly to me.

Just wondering what possesses the US brand not to just sub something like this. Much easier and cheaper and much less annoying... (The subs even exist as shown by Nintendo UK...)

Usually a company will focus on English as their primary language as it's the lingua franca in most of the world, except Nintendo thinks that they're the center of the world and prefers to do everything in Japanese due to how xenophobic Japan still is.

So I am assuming Nintendo of Japan basically says "NoA and NoE do whatever you want" causing a replication of work when the three companies could just work together and make a single direct in a common language Spoiler: English and provide subtitles.

Nnitendo has absolutely horrible production value because they don't value their customers (PS: Because their customers don't care about production value).

It's easier to sub than to dub, so it's easier to send out information for the many many many languages of the UK
