I've had 15 suspensions in the past year, almost all of which being for politically charged posts, and i'm one of the most far left people on CE. Anyone who honestly thinks mods are biased towards the left is either lying or delusional

I've been modded for posts that mock both sides, and the moderations for mocking the left are both more frequent and harsher. I've also never been modded simply for disagreeing with (without any mocking of) the right, but I have for doing so with the left.

It's not a total leftbook-style bias, but it's definitely there.

The mods have bias in general. It varies from mod to mod which direction that is. Obviously it's going to appear to swing in only one direction if you only ever post in one direction.

Some are liberally biased, some are conservatively biased. I'm sure people on both sides have been unfairly modded for their political views. Still, it's insane what is acceptable here and I think trolling in general is allowed to a degree just for the clicks and site views. At least that's the only slightly sane reason I can think of as to why such horrible things can be posted all the time. Unless it's true that those at the top share the same views.
