Yeah i had a friend who had the game but everything was so clunky about it, the whole needing gameboy advances, everyone being a different family, etc just to get the ultima weapon...

Very well may be. Didn't see exclusive anywhere and Sony often does the omission thing just like they did with RE 2 Remake.

It was an enjoyable enough game but later game stuff kinda sucked what with progression being slowed to a crawl, having to replay the same levels over and over and drop rates for certain high level items being almost non-existent.

Though it it nice that the multiplayer is going to be fixed. The GBA thing was likely a nice gimmick but who the hell had multiple GBAs and link cables?

oh wow nice, this game was fun but it was such a hassle to play it Co-op

They need to actually improve the game for it to be a success imo. Not go the Secret of Mana route

SoM was good back in the day because of the 3 player. But there were a lot of design flaws people overlooked because of nostalgia imo. So they changed nothing about those, didnt add anything new to the game, and slapped on the questionable art direction Square has been known to update their classics with. And they fucked up the music
