My prediction is yes, assuming he runs again (which he almost certianly will).

However, this prediction is very reliant on an assumption I'm making which, although I suspect I'll be right, is far from a sure thing - namely, that the Democrats will nominate yet another poor choice of opponent. May not be Clinton again, but it'll be someone who's a poor choice to run against Trump.

If Democrats actually choose a good candidate, then I predict they'll win. If they don't - and I think this case is slightly more likely - Trump will win again.

The Democrats are dead, they have to either admit their are Socialists, or run a celebrity combo and play the race card, like some kind of Oprah/Hispanic combo.

If he doesn't run, the left will win easy.

The whole identity politics thing that the race card falls under, itself, is a big reason for them losing popularity. Their most vocal supporters might love it, but such types are very limited in number and will not overcome even the core Republican voter base, let alone swing voters that would be put off by the race card pulling.

Trump should be re-elected. He has actually delivered on a lot of his campaign promises and done what other Republican presidents have been welching on for decades. Just look at the economy. Yeah, the guy has an obnoxious personality, but he's doing a great job. The media flat out makes shit up about Trump to distract people from his achievements. More and more Americans are wising up and starting to notice this.

If the current trends continue, he will be re-elected.

I think there's a decent chance he will.

Two main reasons:

A) The national news is basically just a daily show about how Trump is awful. Regardless of merit to this storyline, the fact that it is pretty much the headline every single day just gives more "proof" to the people on the right who are going to ignore the "fake news."

B) The Democrats have to come up with a good candidate this time-- Hillary was a terrible choice. I fully believe that Bernie would have beaten Trump as a lot of voter malaise came about after the DNC fucked over Berrnie & his supporters by rigging things for Clinton.

No, but I didn't think he'd get elected the first time, so I'm not exactly a beacon of foresight. That being said, I think that there is an element of dejected apathy at play here; people who hate him probably feel so defeated at this point that it's possible they may feel hopeless even voting, giving him a second run.

Then again, it's also possible he might not run again, if you give the rumors that he did not actually want to win much credence.

Honestly can't see people making the same mistake again-he won through apathy and unwillingness to pick a candidate they could live with out what was available. It's been made clear that the "I don't like them so I'm not voting " approach doesn't ever work in your favour so hopefully people have been scared into action...hopefully.

Trump was elected because the majority of Americans didn't like Obama, and electing Hillary was another 4 years of Obama. What Americans ended up with (ironically) is another 4 years of Obama. Trump is even worse because he doesn't even know what he's doing, he doesn't know basic civics, or even economics. The debt/deficit/budget has grown larger under Trump, that is a sign that he doesn't know what he's doing. He just signs this bill and that bill which expands government. He doesn't know which government program is useless, which government program needs to be cut. His advisors just tell him "we need the department of education, we need head start, we need HUD, there shouldn't' be any social security cuts, we need to spend more money on the military", and Trump just goes along with. In other words he's maintaining the swamp, which is the easiest thing for him to do.

Trump is nothing more than a hypocrite, and that is why his approval rating is so low.

Problem with Trump is that he isn't professional at all and would turn people under the bus at the drop of a hat. He's already alienated half the world.
