It was definitely a lot better than I thought it'd be.
At any rate, just looked it up to see what's happening with the sequel... and apparently it's coming out this October. Yeah, it's really not bad. I expected it to be completely awful, but it's actually kind fun in a goofy sort of way.

When I saw the trailer I thought the special effects looked pretty cool.

I expected to be "so bad, it's good". Especially since I loved the Goosebumps books as a kid.
