Olga and Strut E aside, it hasn't been that bad so far. Fatman, however, is the worst thing to ever exist. Dude runs as far away as he can while you're hunting him down, but runs straight into you when you're diffusing bombs and can't defend yourself. Rapid-fire shooting with the SOCOM is also very inconsistent, and Fatman likes to run into you while you're shooting him.

Good luck, though. I think with Fortune you can't stop moving, it's pretty crazy form what I've seen.

I've got a good technique up my sleeve (Mario Party has trained me well), and I know you can move the camera to the left/right to halve the rate at which the meter drains.

the ray fight isn't THAT bad, you just have to get into the rhythm of it but once you do its essentially on autopilot

everything leading up to it is much harder

Let me correct myself: My problem is that it still hits me, even when I'm moving. Doesn't help that the camera is too close for me to even see if they have blueish breath, though.

I legit tried 10 times in a row to get the only hit I needed on a RAY's face, but every single time it either blocked it or the Stinger's lockon wouldn't get off its leg. Fucking hell.

The worst part of this fight is that I can't tell which RAY is going to jump onto the stage, so I keep getting taken by surprise and crushed completely unavoidably because of it.

This applies even when you have the full stealth camo too so you can't do fun trolling stuff.

yeah but if you get an alert you pretty much want a game over anyway because you're likely not gonna survive what they send out at you

The Solidus fight was a bitch on Extreme. I remember starting the fight around midnight and I didn't beat him until around 3 or 4.

This, pretty much. I almost always killed myself when I got hit with an alert playing casually.

Once you get enough dog tags, you get the perks like infinite ammo and stealth which give you the opportunity to kind of just yolo do w/e you want.

one of my regrets in life is that I never finished it, I could not get past solidus. I remember people saying he was easy compared to the harrier and ray fights but for me it was impossible

No worries, I will continue tomorrow. As of right now, the RAY fight alone has taken up a third of this entire playthrough. I don't know what sadistic bastard thought this was a good idea, but if I ever meet him, I will kill him with my bare hands.
