It is crazy school takes clothes and accessories like bandana serious, but when it comes to bullies the teachers dont seem to care.

A kid can bully but the worst that happens is detention, while a kid who wears none school regulation clothes and he isnt allowed to come to school.

The white kids were wearing other bananas, as was explained, not one associated with a gang.

This would be like some white kid wearing an Aryan Brotherhood cap, being told he couldn't wear that to school, pointing at some black kids who were also wearing caps, being told those were Yankees caps and were different, crying racism when he was arrested, and then having a topic on CE made that said "White kid arrested for wearing wrong logo on baseball cap."

I'm sure most of you guys struggling in this topic would understand that example above, so maybe that will help with the apparent confusion.

It's a bad example Admiral gave.
It's more like wearing a MAGA shirt or a Confederate flag affixed to something.
Plenty of people who MAGA shirts or items with the Confederate flag affixed (blue headbands) don't cause problems. Some do. And the few that do have caused a lot of violent problems. Just like the Crips with the blue bandanna and their idol who wore it.
So if the white kids had a MAGA cap on or a Confederate flag affixed to a bandanna and it's banned in school and they refuse to remove it and get hostile, then what are the people to do? Say 'sorry, the rules no longer apply to you because you happen to be of a certain color skin'?

I never understand how people can refuse to do something that a person who has the authority is telling them and then be shocked when they get in trouble for it. If a cop is telling you to do something and you refuse, shit is not going to go well for you. Dummy. I mean, sure, in some instances it's worth standing up to injustice and whatnot. But over petty shit like you breaking the school dress code? I think not. You're just being an idiot.

Gang related dress code rules actually make perfect sense to me. Other dress related rules less so but I never really dressed in an extreme fashion so it never really affected me at all. I guess it would annoy me more if I personally suffered as a result of such rules.

The police get involved because there's really nothing the teachers can do to enforce the rule. If you break a rule like this then teachers can't physically do anything about it(not unless they want to get sued or something). So the options are either: Let the kid get away with breaking the rule or have the police deal with it. Police don't get called over kids getting in fights...because kids get in fights. If you treated that like an actual assault or something it would result in a huge amount of kids getting locked up. That doesn't really seem like a good idea.

On the contrary I saw this on my aunts facebook page before I posted it. But I am sure you know more about the issues of the Civil Rights then a 76 year old black woman from the South. As I highlighted point blank they are asking him to take off his headwore when they didn't as anyone else. As highlighted in the video.. people have even worn common gang colors were not asked to take it off. As highlighted before he was fucking arrest for a dress code violation. Unless we are arresting calling the cop for every time a kid breaks any school rule.. then that is clearly over kill. And lastly he said he would take if off everyone else were asked to take of there. He is literally asking to be treated like everyone else and was arrested for it.
