that's not it. People hate Jerry since he always gets the winning end, like 90% of the time. It gets the point where it looks more like he's the one bullying Tom.

Anyway I prefer the spin-off show where they work together as friends.

Jerry, of course. Same reason you root for Bugs Bunny - he's being chased by a predator, and he spends the whole cartoon fucking with said predator in any way he possibly can.

Actually you have a point...also Tom's owner forced him to get Jerry or she'd hit him with a broom sometimes....Tom just wanted to be a cat :/....Fuck Jerry.
