This isn't accurate either. Things have been far FAR worse in this countries history in terms of political differences. I don't know how you could compare, say, the 1960s to now and say today is far worse and the failure of democracy.

No it isn't. The only people who call themselves educators are actual educators, regardless of their political leanings.

Regardless, as has been pointed out any attempt to "reach out" to Trump supporters with rational discussion has proven repeatedly fruitless.
