This reminds me of something weird. Back when I just got to college and started using AIM, because that was a thing, someone randomly messaged me out of the blue and I was all "do I know you?" and the response was "no I just like ur name lol" or some shit. I had my first name in my profile and this other person was some 13 y/o weirdo chick that started babbling religious garbage at me. I just kinda humored it. Apparently she had just searched by first name in profiles and found me that way? In any case, she'd ramble about nonsense and said something cringey as fuck when I questioned her on religion to the effect of "I found jesus and accepted him into my heart willingly with no outside influence at the age of 4." Yeah, uh huh... I could've done that with the 80s cartoon transformers if I had wanted to... she's probably a grandmother now tbh.

Let's take it for granted that God exists.

If God exists, He must not wish for His existence to be known to all. Otherwise, He would reveal himself. So this prodigy, this young genius, is going to prove the existence of our Creator, a being who is vastly more powerful and more intelligent that what we humans are fully capable of comprehending, and he's going to do so against our Creator's will?

The big guy who created the galaxies, the stars, the vast empty spaces separated by hundreds of thousands of light years, who made all creatures great and small and set in motion things like gravity and the food chain... He's about to be found out and have His existence made known to all by an 11 year old?

I do not believe this venture will prove successful.

It's not stupid or immature. God allows each person the right to choose whether or not to believe in Him. He won't let anyone take that choice away by proving His existence.

I mean part of being a kid is running around and growing up with other kids. This boy is in a tough spot since it will be hard for him to relate with other kids his age.

You're going to be an adult for the vast majority of your life. Growing up early gets you a significant advantage in the part of life that actually matters. Whether your childhood was 11 years or 18 years is irrelevant in the grand scheme of things.

Plus when someone has this kind of ambition it can actually take effort for them to "just chill and be normal". It's who they are.

Kid's gonna find out soon that his is a pointless endeavor, but perhaps he'll find something else along the way.

My problem is having that mindset will cause you to change majors in the first place. No one starting out with their degree thinks to themselves "I'm not going to use this degree".
