It's been over a year since I last played it. I'd say I got halfway through the game. Maybe a bit more, but then I just stopped. I apparently put 67 hours into the game, which is a bit more than I thought. I didn't even dislike it that much, since my main issue with the game was they give you far too many pointless quests to do.

I barely remember what was going on since I last played. Don't even really remember how to play the game.

Everything about the story was pointless at the end of the day, so that's no big loss.

As for how to play, grab a sniper rifle and shoot humanoids in the face, maybe stunning them with Overload first to line up that easy shot. It's basically easy mode for most of the game.

The AI is kind of stupid, for both enemies and your allies, so picking allies with strong regenerative abilities can help.

This. I enjoyed the game, but all this.

I mean I enjoyed the game but I agree I felt daunted by how many tasks I had at once some time.

Andromeda was just a really shitty bootleg of the original ME. Similar, but with a pointless story, bland characters, and an unintimidating antagonist.

I finished it because I bought it, but it wasn't good.

I loved the weapon mod that gave you infinite ammo a la ME1. I forget what stupid rationalization they used in ME2 to get rid of it, but having it back was great. But anyway, there's a lot of good things about the game (mostly how the world is built and combat-related stuff), but most sidequests suck, too many teammates suck, and the story itself is kinda stupid. The fact they didn't release any DLC to shed light on the missing Quarian ark just showed how severe the backlash was.

PS: Drack 4 Lyfe

I enjoyed the game was definitely the worst mass effect and the writing was meh. It definitely wasn't as bad as people who probably never played the game made it seem.

From what I remember the story was alright. And the characters were good for the most part. It was really the absurd number of pointless tasks they gave you that bothered me the most. I'll just have make sure I ignore the bulk of them if I resume playing the game.

Honestly, that's part of the reason why I hope they do a sequel - there is more tyan enough seeds of really good stuff planted in MEA, that can grow into something great.

Just keep the SJW's away from the dev team, this time.

Eh, the characters were all kind of shallow. It also has the problem of all modern RPGS "Oh your the king, leader, hero of the game. Can you please find my watch?"
