Are Luke Cage, Iron Fist and Jessica Jones required viewing for The Defenders? I know The Punisher isn't but I've seen it anyway.

Iron Fist is by far the most relevant aside from Daredevil but it's also by far the worst.

Ok, so I should probably watch Iron Fist? I have heard JJ and LC are decent watches and had intended to watch them at some point but my son saw defenders and thinks it looked cool because of Daredevil.

JJ and LC aren't necessary before Defenders or Iron Fist but they're also both considerably better than Defenders and Iron Fist

Yeah, Defenders is easily the second worst thing in the Netflix MCU show lineup. Still quite a step up from Iron Fist, though.

I quite liked Iron Fist tbh. Both seasons of JJ are A+ in my book. Didn't really like LC s1, but S2 was a huge step-up in quality and I liked it quite a bit.
