It isnt a personal attack. DezDroppedFreak posted... sorry you have such a simple mind :-) Which is it??? DezDroppedFreak posted... Like this OK let me explain. Having one headphone can't simultaneously "not effect my ability to talk" and mean "Take the hint that I don't want to talk." Either the hint is: "I don't want to talk, as made clear by only giving half my attention to the conversation." Alternatively: "I can talk fine with one headphone in, it's basically the same as not having any in, so feel free to talk to me" --- Just how, pray tell, does your dick "take life"? It's an escapism tactic. The people that do it will deny it, but it's true.

I cant pay attention to just one thing at once. My brain needs to do a little over here, a little over there, something else over there, in order for me to feel fully engaged and stress free.

Which is it??? That quote was straight up trolling lmao Ill admit that OK let me explain. Having one headphone can't simultaneously "not effect my ability to talk" and mean "Take the hint that I don't want to talk." It can though. Its all about context. If someone already had headphones in and they took one out for the response, it means fuck off. If someone planned to have one earbud in, like me, today, when I was laying out on the beach, knowing there were people I was going to socialize with but didnt want to bother with blaring my music for all of them to hear, then its not really impeding on the ability to have a conversation. I can listen to my music and still communicate with them. Whether thats perceived as rude or not is another issue, but even then that all depends on your relationship with the people in question. I can listen to my music and still communicate with them. maybe it's a cultural thing, but if you're going to a social event and you actively plan on having one earphone in, to me that kinda says "you're only worth half my attention" or "i'd rather be listening to music than socialising with you". Or even "this event isn't stimulating enough, I have to bring something else to keep myself entertained, you're all too boring." It's like that one guy who starts playing his DS at the party. Or you go out as a group to get dinner and he starts watching game of thrones on his phone halfway through. Yes, he can still technically talk whilst doing these things, but it's still fucking annoying for everyone else. --- Just how, pray tell, does your dick "take life"? If you go to a party, a dinner, or something and do that then yeah, youre kind of an ass. I think the event and the relationship with the people youre with matter. Like I did it today because we were just chilling on the beach, but I would never do that if we were like going out somewhere, like to dinner or to an event --- ... Copied to Clipboard!
