It's an awful game devoid of any and all skill, an affront to games like Magic: the Gathering that it dares to imitate. Once a week or so I log in and leave with a disgusting taste in my mouth, the taste that comes from knowing no decision I make has any affect on the outcome of the game.
However, every few months I buy these stupid preorders for the cardback (and this time the hero). They got me by the balls and they know it, because the kind of people who like card games usually have obsessive needs to maintain their collections. If only they would use the power they hold over me for good, and create a skill-based game. It's definitely doable within their game system, just move away from all the random effects and create more predictable mechanics. But noooooo. Gotta keep the casuals happy. Can't have them needing to learn how to play in order to collect their rewards and rank up. They just gotta win coin flips. --- ... Copied to Clipboard!
