whenever i do a search, it says im suspicious and makes me do a captcha. i hate captchas. i want to die whenever i see one.

i contacted google and guess what, turns out google employees are idiots

they asked me if i was on wifi

You have some kind of software or network settings running that is causing this, most likely.

Could even be a browser extension. An SEO type extension will cause this.

As someone else said, could also be a VPN.

Basically anything unusual in the network traffic will cause google to do this.

im looking man

i didn't install ANY software today at all.

i only have 1 browser extension, Ublock Origin. disabling it didn't stop it from blocking me.

and thing is, the only way i can even use google is by using a VPN. if i use my regular IP, they block me.

Also google asking if you're on Wifi isn't a stupid question, because someone on your network could be sending out automated requests, voluntarily or involuntarily.

What happens if you use different browsers? Test in all of them.

but im not using a vpn when im blocked.

no VPN: blocked
VPN: not blocked

i dont even have it on my other computer, and its still being blocked.

and i haven't used it in god knows how long.

In that case there's likely something in your wifi or network settings that's throwing google off. Have you tried using a different device on the same wifi connection?
