I didn't see this part but I was in the office when he came back and begged for his job back. Part of the rules requires us to offer customer service to any customer we pass, unless it's been established over the radio that said customer doesn't want help. (OD is seriously creepy with its customer service practices, one of the reasons I bailed.) Coworker passes a customer we knew was doing fine without help. DM didn't like that and personally calls the coworker over to reprimand him. He was having none of that, it turns into an argument, and finally the coworker grabs his things and storms off. Then he comes back and roars "YOU FAT FUCKING PIECE OF SHIT!" to the DM, across the store. Another coworker was outside on his break and talked to the one who stormed off. Apparently this dude was absolutely raging, talking about how he'd slash the DM's tires if he knew which car the guy owned. --- This is LinksLiege's signature. But foodservice, you see a lot of people come and go and only few stay there for long periods of time. You see a lot of characters to say the least. For instance the time it was directed at me I told this guy to move faster because we were way behind on ticket times mostly because of holdups at his station, and he started fucking throwing whole heads of lettuce at me and walked out. So I was kinda pissed but I look back on it and think it probably looked hilarious to everyone else. It was also an open kitchen I should say so doing that in front of customers obviously made it more serious. He then gave everyone the silent treatment for about 2 weeks. If he wasnt there es bosss cousin he probably would have gotten fired. We never found out the reason for that. Funny thing is hes a die hard Golden State Warriors fan. When they won, he was perfectly back to normal the next work day. 2. Girl just starts crying out of nowhere. Happened multiple times. Since she was under my supervision I had to try to figure out what was going on. Her boyfriend in short broke her heart. 3. Multiple people talk s* about me paying exact change when I can. Wtf. God forbid I want to get rid of small bills/coins and make the cashiers life easier. 4. New girl requests 2 weeks vacation. This was a few days after coming back from a 2week vacation which she took just a few days after getting hired. I immediately denied she request. She then said give me these days or I quit. I then said okay to write your letter. 5. Girl (same person from #2) comes to me with a complaint. She said that a coworker asked her on a scale of 0-100, whats the probability youd let me f* you? That same guy was seen going through her car and smelling her bra. They almost got into a physical fight but I stopped them. 6. Girl starts crying when she found out one of her favorite NFL players tore his ACL. 7. Guy is an hour and a half late. I ask him why is he late. He yells at me for calling him out. Usually hes a nice guy and doesnt get mad. Turns out that morning he got a traffic ticket, so this one is somewhat justifiable. 8. I exposed a girl for being a stalker. Like, the kind youd get a restraining order for. Eventually they gave in, but instead of reasonably scheduling her they just severely cut down her hours to just 4 per week. With how frustrated she was at the whole thing she just broke down and cried when she found out about that. She no longer works there (quit), but shit, she had a rough time.
