Depends on the time of year. Summer is absolute hell. Especially with all the holidays.

If you asked me this question 6 weeks ago it would undoubtedly be yes.

My new job I am enjoying quite a bit tbh. The owner is awesome and I've been having fun. Teaching kids can be a pain in the ass but it's rewarding at least.

she's just an asshole who brings her personal issues to work all the time.

and whenever anyone messes up, everyone gets a lecture. I also once got lectured because I missed something small that she also missed, and she said something along the lines about how we need to notice her mistakes. and if we try to explain why something happened the way it did, she cuts us off like what we say doesn't matter.

she also sits on projects until the last minute, so there's some downtime until a few days when the project is due, and then she rushes everyone at the last minute.

and another thing that bothers me is when she wants me to make some kinda budget request for a project only so that another name is attached, so when we need to pay it back, she's the only one with the authority, but I get hounded by the people we need to pay.

just a bunch of stuff.

Depends on the day, usually I don't have to actually deal with management so I'm fine throughout the week.

Definitely doesn't mean someone is smarter. My schools director has a MBA and has a huge ego because if it. I absolutely do not think he's smarter than me and the owner has said as much to me. He fully intends to have me replace him as director eventually.

The guy is a bit of a drama queen and always seems to be a problem with him. He even came to work drunk yesterday and had to leave early and cancel classes because of it. He's more educated but I don't think he's smarter than me in the least bit. I'm always correcting his work, plus he's an anti-vaxxer who thinks everything gives you cancer yet smokes a pack per day

it's not about intelligence, it's just that she's a shitty boss. she's almost always bitter and petty, and it messes with the work environment. and she the way she handles stuff negatively affects our work.

Love it. Drive for no more than 2.5 hours, actually work for up to an hour, spend the other 5 hours on break waiting for freight to be loaded into my truck or doing simple flight paperwork.

Pretty sick of it. Still working here while I'm looking for other places and pursuing my freelance career, but I have to survive for now.
