my wife is a very, very tidy person. i'm also a very tidy person, but not on her level.

I'm more neat than my spouse, but also less clean.

For instance, I'm much more likely to throw away a wrapper or packaging immediately while my girlfriend will potentially leave it out. Or she will get her mail and pile it up and never check it, whereas I will check my mail immediately and throw out the envelopes/junk mail/etc

However, I also do not feel the need to do things like vacuum and mop as often as she does

I guess it works out pretty well really

I clean regularly, keep everything tidy and organized, wash all of my own dishes and clean the shower drain when I'm done. I rinse off recyclables before putting them in the bin. I even regularly wash the vacuum filter. I could go on. I enjoy cleaning.

Sometimes I go through periods of depression when I'm away from my gf for too long and my bedroom turns into a certified hellhole, but I never let it stay that way for more than a day or two at a time. When it gets bad it gets bad really fast. Like within half a day I suddenly have nowhere to step. Doesn't usually take more than an hour to run through my whole cleaning routine though.

I guess it works out pretty well really

This is why it think most people will respond C, but some will be wrong. We all have things that bug us and we address those, but we don't address the things that bug other people. A lot of people think they're the cleanest person in the house.
