They could've still had a great story arc about Harry getting revenge via MJ. The symbiote is a distraction that just wastes time and makes the movie go on too long. Considering that Spiderman 2 was less successful than the first movie, obvs the studio will put Venom in the movie. Sandman was completely unnecessary, and while New Goblin was built up since the first movie ... honestly the writers screwed themselves over by making that a plot point in the first place. We already saw Green Goblin in the first movie; who the fuck wants to see him again? New Goblin obviously can't carry a movie by himself, which is why movie team felt the need to include other villains. And since New Goblin needs other villains to accompany him, LOL, they should have never bothered with him to begin with. --- THE FAM.
