I lived in california all my life growing up in mexican heavy areas. Theres so many wonderful things about mexicans and latin americans

-Latin american women are hot af
-family oriented people, strong family values
-make for great neighbors, fun-loving neighbors - it's always fun to bbq or hang out with em
-music is great even if you don't know the lyrics
-food is amazing
-generally always friendly and nice
-hard working and honest people
-even the thugs and 'gangsters' are more normal and have more compassion than thugs of any other race

I mean obviously this doesn't apply to 100% of the people and obviously you will have your bad apples and rapists and criminals and bad people etc. But it applies to the vast majority of them.

The same people that complain that there shouldn't be a minimum wage are annoyed when someone takes a job for less than minimum wage.

The same party that tells people to pull themselves up by their own bootstraps wants the government to hand them jobs.

its because people naturally divide each other through differences. 1st what they see (appearances and color), then what they hear from others (misinformed) , and finally what they do (their truth is absolute).

we all fear the unknown. diversity is a scary thing to many. ignorance plays all of us like a fickle, sore af loser. like minds think alike and spread their fear and hate to others willing to listen while those targeted by them are just trying to live. that's what's it all comes down to - others doing better than you are because of their drive, focus, and opportunity. Haters just drive their focus and opportunity towards negativity because they don't benefit from it. imagine if they put in as much time and effort to their own lives than ruin others. some day they'll get what they want and blame another folk for their hardships.

Well yeah, they're irrationally afraid they'll move there and take their jorbs too.

Which is funny because most of the time, they aren't taking anyone's job, they're getting jobs no one else wants to do.

No one should have an issue with legal immigrants bringing their skills and work ethic into the country and contributing to society and the economy.

But your first sentence makes no sense. Those two things aren't contradictory. Citizens have to get paid minimum wage. They don't have the option to work for less than that. If an illegal comes in and undercuts that and gets paid off the books, then that is actually taking a job away. If there was no minimum wage, citizens could opt to work for less than the illegal immigrant, but that's not an option.

But like the other poster said, if you are losing minimum wage jobs to illegals, you need to go develop some skills that are more valuable than minimum wage grunt work.
