People been saying this for over a year See back then it still had Pokemon support to keep it alive. Now however, there will be no more pokemon games for 3ds. Hell it's getting fewer than 5 big releases (there are 3 I can name, and only 1 is big) in the next 6 months or so. 3DS systems are being underproduced and replaced by the 2DSXL, which is a late-life hardware revision. Gamefreak has moved Pokemon to the Switch. Square has moved to the Switch with Octopath and Setsuna. Level-5 is moving to the Switch with Yokai Watch. Sega has moved to Switch with Shining Resonance and the Sonic games. Indie dev's are flocking to the Switch. The big games coming to 3ds this year are: Captain Toad (Port) Luigi's Mansion (remaster) WarioWare (possibly getting a Switch release) Dragon Quest 11 So one actual major new release, a shared title, a port, and a remake.
