Fortunately 4 days I can get free dinner or lunch at my job

But fuck CE, how do I be smart about this? Fortunately my appetite is lower than normal (all I need are 1200-1500 calories to live).

As is always the case in topics like this, I'm sure somebody will try to start a circlejerk about how little they spend on food per week. Just like when people brag about how little sleep they got last night. It's only a matter of ti--

i can hit pretty close to that towards the end of the month. depends if i want special goodies like fresh ground beef (1# option that i like) and that dollar store i easily run through 20$.

just a balancing act. i want to make it the entire month without fucking myself financially (i'm the only one in my family who's financially responsible).

Someone who doesn't/isn't able to cook most of the time. I basically spend every day away from home and for reasons it's difficult to cook up lunches. I just happen to have an opportunity to change that.

I usually grab cheap dry junk or eat at a cheaper restaurant (or try at least).

oh okay there it is

In this topic it's kind of warranted though. $50 is PLENTY for a week. Now if you were talking $10... That'd be a challenge.

Butter, eggs, and other healthier fatty foods are cheaper by the calorie. fat helps you stay full longer and noodles give you cravings two hours later.
