If it's that painful why do after a couple years woman say, "Let's have another kid". You'll never hear a man say "You know what Dave, kick me in the balls again"

Alright,TC. You know they have machines that can simulate the pain of childbirth for men, right? Time to put up or shut up, post a video of you getting on one of those machines here.

Its not as painful as it could be since many women opt for epidurals to numb everything below the waist, but after watching my wife give birth I wouldnt want to experience it.

Yes, clearly forcing something out of a vagina is painless.

Women who've had both children and kidney stones say that that's about the closest men can get to experiencing childbirth.

A certain relative of mine - who among other things once broke his arm so badly that the very sight of it caused a woman to faint, and who now lives in constant pain from rheumatory arthritis and a slew of similar auto-immune diseases - still maintains that the time he had to pass a kidney stone was the worst pain he's ever experienced in his life.

Though this is obviously a joke / troll topic, so I don't know why I typed all that.

God made the heavens and the Earth. And said it was good.

Then God made animals and stuff, and said they were good.

He made other stuff, all good.

Then God made people and said they were good.

Then he made childbirth and was like "Let me level with you, woman. This is gonna suck."

Because we are discovering and researching the idea that women either forget the pain of childbirth after a time or there is some other mechanism in place for this: https://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pubmed/11251509

So what I'm reading is, "Recollection is not entirely accurate," and the experience "gives rise to positive consequences related to coping, self-efficacy, and self-esteem."
So not only can we not trust women when they how painful it is, but it is also beneficial to them.

I don't see how a machine can simulate the experience. For one I don't have a vagina, it would be artificial. Its like trying to compare going number two and twisting your arm. What is the machine going to do?

Youre going number 2 all over CE and you seem to enjoy it, so go break your arm and report back

I've asked some nurses in the maternity ward at work about this stuff before.

Kindey stones and childbirth about about equal from what they say, but they would all pick those over gallstones. Gallstones are apparently the worst.

Yes, I think that's what it's trying to convey. I think it's speculated that there is some hormone that's released at some point that almost makes women 'forget' the pain of childbirth.

I've seen this happen with friends, it's strange.

wtf, that's so werid.
