I was actually able to beat the Infernal Lucina battle on the first try, but then it took me like 3 tries to beat it on Lunatic. I don't know how that happened, ha.

Got an Azura and NY Camilla in about 60 orbs. Both -Att, of course. The last 5 focus units I've pulled have been -Att, which is just lovely.

If nothing else this Legendary Hero Battle is good practice for not getting blindsided by Future Vision in the arena in a week or so.

Lack of daily orbs is somewhat concerning.

Could just be your standard temporary "drought", or maybe they're hoping people burn up their orbs for something on the horizon.

i mean, we've gotten 10+ orbs each of these 3 days despite the lack of daily orbs so no big deal. and i think they start again tomorrow.

They already announced in FEH Channel that we are getting a lot of free Orbs in August.

Interesting about the new arena numbers. I feel like I stand to benefit as someone near the top of 19.5 (I can get close to staying in tier 20 if my bonus hero is good, but never quite enough), but who knows; there are probably other 19.5 players who will dump feathers to improve things and not sure if I'll keep up.

Also, perma-tier 20? How does that work?

Got combo broken by Hinoka at 11%. Cause it was kinda high full pulled and also got Horse Lilina who seems kinda worthless especially since Atk Tactic is obtainable from 4* Legault now.

Bad nature on Hinoka but mostly wanted her for Atk/Spd bond 3. Bad nature on Lilina too but who cares.

May draw again in hopes of more Hinoka fodder or a decent nature for her plus more Grimas but I'll hold off a bit and see how many orbs we get. Don't wanna be high and dry at 11% again

I don't care for Lilina so I wouldn't use her either but V!Lilina but she seems really good objectively, horse mage with that much atk can wreck faces easy.

I guess her attack is a bit better than I thought. Given she's not +Atk though I'd rather just use a +Atk Cecilia that I've been considering 5*ing. Guess having both doesn't hurt though.

V!Lilina is pretty good anti-meta with fairly minimal skill inheritance. Just give her Bowbreaker and she counters both Reinhardt and Brave Lyn.

I am weak and went drawing again immediately once I got back up to 13.

Luckily I got another Hinoka (-Atk/+Def which was even worse than my last one's nature as it's the worst possible one) after a mere two more orbs. Your sacrifice will be remembered Hinoka.



I think she's done now. Will have to feel out whether Atk+3 or Spd+3 is better (until Atk/Spd +2 comes out) but I think Atk+3 is generally going to be stronger.

Serra is conflicted. On one hand, being +10 means a lot more adoration. On the other, it also means being expected to do a lot more work.

Maybe Quickened Pulse so she can get to Miracle faster? Or Distant Defense so she can bait?

Serra as bait are you kidding me that's her vassal Matthew's job. (who, incidentally, has my Distant Defense Seal 95% of the time)

Well actually she does it sometimes against mages but she can do that without distant defense-- never really been at risk of dying with her res being pretty high-- even Reinhardt can't really do it unless he's a +10 with the most optimized build + unanswered hone cavalry.

She actually has significantly more durability than it looks like cause unless it's a brave weapon she heals a large chunk of life on the counter attack. I've had her tank low res dagger units that double her before. That being said I still don't want her to get doubled but now at 42 (44 really) seems like a decent level to hit to avoid that fairly reliably. I do sometimes have her face tank once Miracle is up but yeah. Matthew's generally the bait unit though as I said. She's for uncounterable damage and every bit of damage helps.

Quickened Pulse might be worth thinking about as once in a while I do wish I had Miracle up a bit earlier (generally she needs to get two attacks off for it to be online), but dazzling staff absorb is actually pretty good for building charge if you play carefully. Overall I think the flat stat seal is fine even if it doesn't look fancy. It saves the fancy seals for my other less powerful units too. I'll monitor how often I'm wanting the quickened pulse more carefully though. I do think that's the only one worth remotely considering over the flat stat seals.

Maybe someday we'll be able to put attack specials on healers somehow. Then I'll have to inherit more stuff.

I got a free 4* Soren (no blues) to get him to +7

Also with the swell of orbs from the missions, 2 orbs from login, and 2 daily missions, I pulled more colorless and got another bow Hinoka with 2 more colorless draws with 9 orbs spent. So 3 Hinokas in my last 3 batches (never mind that first one took me till 11% to get to). This one actually has arguably the best nature (+Spd/-HP) so that's cool.

Not sure who else wants Atk/Spd Bond 3 but I can figure something out. Don't like Hinoka enough to go for merges (don't hate her or anything, but having a base one with the best nature is more than good enough). Think I'm stopping now and wait for the next Grima banner to try for more because I now have an extra Atk/Spd Bond and a great nature for Hinoka and I don't want Lyns.

It's not the worst thing to hold onto an attack/speed bond. A bunch of units could make use of it.

Yeah I'm not rushing into using it or anything. I mean reason I don't want Brave Lyns is I have two extra Swift Sparrows from previous Brave Lyns I've drawn from previous banners she's been on too. Just saying one extra is plenty and it'll be a thinker as for when I want to use it over Swift Sparrow 2 and Life & Death 3. Serra literally can't use those so for her it was between that and Tana's thing (which, now that I've committed to Atk/Spd bond I can probably merge my extra Summer Tana since I actually do like her enough to merge and while Atk/Spd Push 3 is a cool ability I don't really see a ton of must use situations for it)

Interesting who they picked for the TT units to be 5*. Think it's safe for me to merge the the BK I'll be getting since Steady Stance doesn't get used much, although I've been using BK less and less.

Were those the first 6 TT units?

If we get them all as TT rewards, that means other rewards will be cut. I'm totally fine with them cutting the crystal and shard rewards, just hope they don't cut the feather rewards

The level range for arena can get annoying at times.

I can get as low as 706, or as high as 720. It took me quite a few swords to find said 720....

how'd you guys rank in GC? i got 8th with 4 lances left. i only had one full clear on tele-infernal and wasted a bunch of lance-stamina. also blew 2 lances in the last 10 minutes on non-tele-infernal auto to get into the top 10. i noticed if i had spent every single lance i could have ranked in the top 3. oh well.

(it annoys me that are there two infernals and two types of lances with no official term to distinguish them)

oh and free 3* Jakob. gross.

Best part of this GC is they brought back warp attack AI for extra points. Makes it easier for someone like me who actually was able to play around that mechanic and was upset they removed it.

Oh and free draw was 4* Corrin F. Actually pulled the other blue too for a 3* Cordelia (not for Reins for Oboros)

The lances that restore your stamina are called Conquest Lances. The lances that represent your stamina don't have a name but I tend to use something like Stamina Lance. I've seen some people use Infernal+ to refer to the new Infernal. However, the original Infernal doesn't really have a unique name anymore.

As for rank I was Top 65 since I didn't use any Conquest Lances.

I don't think there is a Flier bonus round this time. So far the loop goes Cavalry, Flier, Infantry, Armor then repeats. We should get Infantry, Armor and Cavalry this time.

I was under the impression the new rank rewards would be cumulative and given out at the conclusion of the event and was pleasantly surprised that isn't the case. They really need to do away with VG because I much prefer GC due to the much greater potential for feather earnings

Seven Reindaddies later and I STILL don't have a +Atk one. Would have been nice to get the 5* so I could at least have one merge

2 days left so I figured I'd finally get to work on that Lucina LHB.

Was pretty rough even with Nino's dance crew. Managed to get it down by killing Lucina early(Future Sight shenanigans is too much), then the jerks had to throw in a TA red tome. Don't normally see Nino doing 0x2.

But TA Bridal Ninian + Fjorm meant she had backup for that one pest. Really it's TA reds and dull ranged units that are the worst for me to deal with.

I saw one red orb and got Hinata, which is fitting on the banner. I promptly gave Tana Fury finally. Still have three Hinata's in reserve

Got first place in my army this time and we ended with 15 areas so not bad.

160k per battle when you're actually playing the game gives you a pretty huge advantage over the lunatic autobattlers. Still have 3 spears too.

Course the price you pay for the advantage is you actually need to spend time playing but I enjoy Grand Conquests when the enemy can warp attack so it's fine with me.

Also 4* Eirika today. No blues-- though I probably would've drawn Red anyway cause Sanaki is the only uncommon unit in the focus and I don't have one yet.

I really wish they would make Fury and Desperation fodder more available. If Empty Takumi were summonable, he would solve the Fury availability problem and also make colorless a little better in the process. But yea, I only have Shanna and always try to keep copies of commonly-used fodder, so I won't use her unless I get another one. Not that I need anymore Fury fodder right now, but it's kind of silly how these skills are locked to one color at 4*
