I liked it, but yeah, it's definitely middle tier of the Marvel movies.

It was way better than the first. The villain was a huge step up from that dumb butchered version of Yellowjacket from the first, and they really one-upped the action and comedy.

It's certainly not top-tier in the MCU, but it was really nice having a more down-to-Earth story with more personal stakes, especially after Infinity War.

You cant call Yellowjacket butchered in comparison considering they completely changed almost everything about The Ghost from the comics version

I dont see how anyone could think this one was funnier than the first one either. Also Evangeline Lily is hot and all but she somehow came across as super uncharismatic in this movie

The first Antman movie was pretty ok, not my favourite MCU movie but it was watchable.
And my usual movie friend is out of town this week so I'm thinking of skipping Antman & The Wasp until it gets on Bluray.
I could just go and watch it alone but eh, it's not that big of a deal. I can wait.
Though I think I might be growing tired of seeing new movies in general.
No movies Wow me anymore.
Infinity War was an exception though. That movie was pretty great(although I'm sure it could've been even better if I was just a tad younger).

I didn't say in comparison. It was just poorly done. Ghost was changed as well, but she was actually a well-written villain, unlike 70-80% of MCU villains which tend to be shallow.

I don't see how someone couldn't. The first was funny, but this one had higher highs and more consistently funny jokes, in my opinion.
