But that is a fundamental misunderstanding of what Twitter is. Unless you specifically set your account to private or friends only or whatever, it isn't a private space for you. It is your seat at a public forum from where you can announce your thoughts and opinions. And where you can receive feedback on those thoughts. Even feedback you don't like.
