GameGodOfAll 07/04/18 9:36:04 PM #1:	I went out to Stop & Shop earlier today to pick up a few things for the 4th. I don't have a car, so I usually walk and a few blocks before the store there was a table set up on the sidewalk. There was a cute blonde woman there with a clipboard. She was wearing some pro-America shirt and the table had little flags on it as well, but I figured this was just some sort of 4th of July deal. I inadvertently made eye contact and she gave a big smile, so my first instinct was that she was about to give me a sales pitch. She said "Hi." and I was all "Hey. How are you?" She made small talk for a few seconds and we talked about how hot it was out which lead her to explain what she was doing. She claimed that she was trying to find any foreigners that were interested in taking English lessons and something about aiding them with the "integration process". She said that for each person that got signed up for a newsletter, there would be a donation made to their "cause". I'm pretty darn white with a Boston accent, so I made a joke about not qualifying unfortunately. Got a cute giggle out of her and was set to go on my way, but she was pretty persistent. She said that it wouldn't have to be me or a family member, but could be a friend or neighbor. I live in an apartment complex with a good chunk of the tenants being foreigners, so I know plenty who are new to this country. She kept on pushing and giving me the hard sell about what a nice thing it would be for me to do for someone else and I buckled. I gave her the names of a couple who had just moved in a few weeks back who I've been pretty friendly with. Just the names and their mailing address. I know it sounds really stupid now, but at the time I didn't think much of it. That was when I realized that on one of the flyers on the table there was a line about all proceeds going to support the safety of our borders or some shit like that. It was weirdly worded and got me nervous. Having realize what I just may have done, I tried to play it off going "Ya know, on second thought I probably shouldn't give out anyone's information without their permission. I'll tell them about your service and make sure they look into it." She clutched the clipboard to her chest like I was about to snatch it and then gave me a pouty face saying that she really needs every sign up that she can get and there's a bonus in it for each name she's responsible for. We went back and forth and I was getting more and more firm about it until I finally resorted to bargaining and said that I would just give her a "donation" if she took their names off the list. I asked how much she would get for it and she said, "Well for a married couple living together, she would normall get about tree fiddy." Well it was about that time I realized this blonde girl was about eight stories tall and was a crustacean from the plethazoic era. I said to her, "God damn it Loch Ness Monster, I ain't giving you no tree fiddy! Out here trying to trick me into getting people deported just so you can trick me outta my money." Preaching all this crap just to get people for ICE to look into while making a few bucks. Never was I so pissed. Happy 4th right? Their old lives will get them killed. No one wants to take trip traveling 2000 miles from where they grew up in, from where their home is, unless they had to. People with young children definitely don't want to risk it as you don't know who would take advantage of them while traveling with the caravan. Either trust me when I say this, or just go on Democracy Now and watch their daily shows since half of their news broadcast is dedicated to reporting on countries with conflicts. Every country that is experiencing an immigration crisis, here, Europe, in Africa, they all have this same pattern.
