my girlfriend wants to play a coop game with me. she has only played WoW and LoL, no shooters. I haven't played fortnite yet. is the game pretty easy to learn?

It's also point and click.

The hardest aspect of Fornite would be adjusting to situation that only gets worse as time goes on.

Not everyone enjoys the pressure of having a "time limit" or having to play from behind.

What.

There's more to the genre than shooting and clicking lol. It is still pretty tactical if you play it competitively >_>

I mean, mastering is a whole different story, but it's going to be down to a few tactics + solid reaction time.

There's a reason why FPS is often the most popular game genre, outside of mobile games.

It's can't really be all that complex judging from the fact that it's mostly 10-12 year old kids who play it.

It can be frustrating to win as a casual player. There is usually at least 1 try hard in the lobby that wrecks everyone

There's no training mode and the only way to practice is to keep playing matches. To survive you must build a maze of walls around yourself the moment you are spotted.

if you dont mind dropping 30 bucks, play fortnite save the world (co-op survival against waves of AI) with her, once she has confidence in that move on to battle royale.
royale might be fun for you guys but with no shooter experience chances are she is gonna get you killed (or die and leave you alone) more or less every drop which might get frustrating.

well yeah but there is no open mic servers (you can only communicate with your squad) so thankfully you won't hear it.

It will take you about 10 rounds to really get what's going on.
It will take you 100 rounds to be halfway decent.
