I would just call 911, tell them the license plate number of whoever is kidnapping the kid, them immediately film the rape scene for evidence while the police arrives.

It's not really a good idea to play hero in these kind of situations, it's best to let the police handle it. The criminals could be armed with a knife, gun or other dangerous weapon.

For those who are confused...

Both of these people are horrible people. However, the rapist almost certainly will rape the woman (I'd say about a 95% chance) while the pedo, by comparison, only MIGHT molest the kid (and even then we don't know how so. Could be, at least comparatively, tender and loving as opposed to the violent and abusive ways of the rapist). If the pedo was more... evil... we probably would have an entirely different opinion; but with the info presented there's at least a chance to save the woman and to have the kid rescued as well before bad things happen; or at least for it to not be as vile as what would happen to the rapist. Especially since 'pedo' can basically encompass anyone from someone who likes 5 year olds to 17 year olds in todays world. I'm pretty sure that, if this was a 17 year old, you'd be saving the woman every time.

That's why I said I'd call 911 first, and inform them of the situation. What if the rapist runs away before the cops arrive? I'm sure the cops (and the woman) would be more than happy to have clear evidence so that they can identify the rapist ASAP.

I save neither and ask an infant out on a date.
