My roommate is moving out within a couple weeks then well probably start moving her stuff over. I feel like your stories are always the same tbh Biggest difference in circumstances is that Ive known this girl for a year already. Other main difference is, well, Ive mellowed out a lot. Ive only been dating for something like 4 years, so Ive gone through something like a crash course in learning to navigate relationships, dealing with emotions most people learn to handle in their teens. Every time Ive entered a promising new relationship, its felt like Ive had a slightly better handle on things, but this is the first time I havent felt possessed by insecurity and dependency, and Im communicating with this open honesty that Id avoided in the past over fear of feeling vulnerable. Its replaced with this belief that I can trust this girl to do whatever she feels is best for her, and that well either progress or fail based on how our interests and expectations align. 4 years ago, I was a controlling emotional wreck. My last relationship, about a year and a half ago, I was a lot better at hiding those issues, but they were still prevalent enough that I struggled being genuine and supportive while feeling unworthy.
