Shit I just maxed out fleet footed and now Geralt gets no damage as long as hes dodging. This is so overpowered. Im literally immortal now if I hold down the alt key. I also discovered mutagens and the rediculous benefits they give. I only have 2 so far but Ive got +40% att and signs

I'm pretty certain that fleet footed does literally nothing and you start the game invincible as long as you spam dodge...

This is my new favorite game. Im going to play 2 and 1 after this. The storyline is really engrossing. I still dont like how Geralt is a gigantic dick though.

The first two games are good. I prefer the first, but most people hate it and prefer the second.

I know what you mean. I didnt play at all last week. But yeah, Im spending a lot of my alone time doing this instead of movies and tv. The game is really engrossing. The one thing Im mad about is that I didnt know Yennefer was supposed to be Geralts one true partner. I picked Triss but Id flip that if I could. Maybe on a new game plus if I come back to the game. I dont get Ciri either. Is she supposed to be a demigod? Why is she so powerful?

Shit I went to the isle of mist and the game just picked up from there. An hour straight of important shit happening. Just got back from bald mountain and now the lodge of sorceresses is being reformed. I feel like Im at the end now. It was fun gathering all of the allies for the Kaer Morgan defense.

Finished all of the contracts and got an achievement for that. Then I went world hopping with the elf. Now Im running around with Ciri. Ill probably beat the main quest tomorrow.

I didnt hunt the question marks. If you just play the main quest and the side character subplots its very fun. I have 60 hours and completed all contracts and did every subplot. To have 40 hours and be where you are must have taken a serious amount of wandering.

Damn I just did the rose quest. I took the ride from Iris. That one was creepy as hell. I like how the blood and wine expansion is kind of horror themed.

The Duchess Anna Henrietta! I like how this place is so over the top. Im definitely going to kill the vampire. I dont care what Regis says.

Completed the knight tournament with Vivienne. That stalker dude is basically the stereotypical neck beard. Also started furnishing my house. And completed the skellige deck. Cerys is the best card.

Make sure you pick the story book later on. And get the red ribbon.

Shit all these sidequests are just mocking real life things. Theres the extremely unhelpful bank and a cuck quest so far.

Aww I really like Geralt. It makes sense that his voice is like that. I didn't they he was and "edge lord" I just think he was blunt..

I'm glad OP is liking the game. I'm playing it pretty slowly. After a big event I feel like I have to take a little break from it.

Hes definitely a dick. Theres no doubt about that. If it was toned down a little bit it would be better. How he talks to the love interests should be his default edge level. He straight up harasses everyone else.

Same. He never came across as a major dick to me. Maybe sometimes a little jaded from being just a step above the monsters he hunts in the eyes of society, but that's very understandable.

^^^i tried to play Geralt nicely. Hes just incredibly abrasive most of the time.

Anyways, I finished blood and wine. The fairytale land was fun, surprised the crack dealer played gwent. And the drunk wolf was pretty funny as well. After that I banged syanna and then killed detlaff. Regis should have seen his betrayal coming. Both Anna Henrietta and syanna lived, although I would have been ok if Anna executed syanna. Then Regis got exiled and triss visited me at my manor.

Overall, Id rate this game. 9/10. It was very engrossing and the only single player game Ive finished in the past few years. Most games just cant keep me in nowadays. It wasnt too hard or easy and I personally liked the combat and skills. Gwent was a great mini game once I started to win at it. As far as areas go, I would rank them Toussaint, Novigrad, Velen, Skellige, White Orchard. If I were to play again, Id pick Yennefer. I didnt know she was supposed to be geralts one true love and I want to see how her ending plays out. Triss was nice though. And Kiera Metz was fine as hell. Id pick her if she was an option.

Ill be honest... I just started a death march ng+ run. Everything kills me in 2 hits. Its basically just quen+dodge after igni at the start of the fight. At least I have my aerondight.
