No, actually. FIFA rules require that players either have a parent or grandparent born in the country, or spend five years living it before they are permitted to make a switch in nationalities, and only if they haven't already played a competitive match for another country. Every player on Germany's current squad was born there.

Not sure where you came up with the idea that Africans were good at soccer, they really arent. Europeans and South Americans are the best.

Just reading the names on the roster would let you know they're definitely German.

Soccer is pretty low on the excitement scale, probably around baseball. Major props though for not stopping every 5mins for a commercial break. That definitely puts it ahead of baseball.
