Damn_Underscore 06/21/18 12:59:58 PM #1:	Turned into a "blue state" is. Texas has 38 electoral votes now, and it will get more starting in 2024. Texas' estimated population has increased the most by number and by % of any state since 2010. If Hillary got those 38 votes in 2016, Trump still would have won the election, but with exactly 270 votes. And that map is basically the worst a Democratic candidate could have done nowadays. So with a blue Texas and even more electoral votes, the Democratic candidate will be guaranteed to win essentially every election - possibly starting in 2024. They would try to go for those who are a little left of the center, but would gladly vote Republican if they changed a few things here and there.
