Tried to pick the worst of the batch from what I've seen on the boards. Most people generally love the Metro and Mushroom Kingdoms, of course. A lot of people seem to hate the Lake Kingdom for some reason; although it does feel a bit redundant to the Seaside Kingdom.

I think I'll have to go with Bowser's Kingdom. For some reason I've always hated Bowser levels in Mario games. I don't really have the desire to return there, even though I still have a lot of Power Moons left to collect there. The Japanese theme is really cool, though.

I also don't really like the Dark and Darker Side, but that's mainly because I don't like super-difficult levels.

I initially disliked the Sand, Snow and Luncheon Kingdoms (I hate ice and desert levels, and the pink lava along with the bright, jarring colors was irritating), but they eventually grew on me.

Hated Luncheon. It's ugly. I also didn't like the not-Kingdom Kingdoms like Cloud Kingdom.

EDIT: Wait, Snow Kingdom was worse. It's small, boring, and I will forever hate bound racing.

I loved Seaside Kingdom, you guys are crazy.

And Ruined Kingdom would've been amazing as an actual level. Perhaps not on a large scale, but something more condensed, like the Lost Kingdom. Still, gotta love the Dark Souls vibe.

Seaside and Lake...I actually prefer the smaller one (Lake, I think?).

I know what you mean about lost kingdom. I honestly think it was the aesthetic of it with the bad music and depressing atmosphere that made me not like it. Most of the rest seemed fine.

Aside from the really short ones like Ruined and Cloud Kingdoms (I'll also ignore Dark/Darker Side for that reason, even though they're listed), it's between Cap and Moon Kingdoms. They're really bland visually and unlike traditional Mario collectathon levels. They're not great to explore either, with the large sections in the former that you need to fly over and the low gravity in the latter. I don't think the Power Moons have a great deal of creativity or variety either. Cap Kingdom is pretty much the tutorial level after all.

At least Moon Kingdom has the relatively fun final section, so I'll vote Cap Kingdom as the worst.

I like the Moon because it reminds me of SML2 and Duck Tales

also, why is there a chapel on the Moon? some questions are best left unanswered

honestly, the luncheon one was my least favorite to play through. i remember not enjoying a lot of the mechanics.

the only thing going for it is the aesthetic i guess, but it's just a reskinned lava world with a vaguely lunch-related theme. however besides the chef hats & fork people it barely looked lunch related

Lost Kingdom has fine gameplay but is Buzzkill Incarnate. Definitely my least favorite.

The forgotten kingdom. And fuck that koopa race.

Easily Lake or Snow. Snow is just boring, it has a dumb race gimmick and the inner areas are forgettable. Lake is obnoxious to navigate and the only fun thing, the zipper, is not utilized interestingly.

Seaside Kingdom is way better than the Lake Kingdom because the whole area is open, there's three movement options (squid fish and flower), and unlike lake kingdom it isn't boring as fuck to swim around the place.

Has a face puzzle star (fuck that shit seriously)
Basically nothing of interest here.

The regular bouncing game was easy. The secret one was kind of hard.

It's not a struggle it's just long and overused.

Odyssey has an issue where because they put dev time into something, they feel they have to stretch it as thin as possible. The bounce race is a good example of that, as well as Lakitu

I got it on my second but it was still more overdone than bouncing game. I mean, I have fast reflexes. Others got to sit through a hundred count over and over. It was just too much Imo.at least it was Not as bad as the super jump in Mario rpg

The atmosphere was fine but the music really is garbage.

I actually tend to quite like water worlds/levels, and dislike sand worlds/levels.
