Do something small that you know you can do. Once you succeed move onto something bigger. Rinse and repeat.

Alternatively, dont do things youre afraid of failing at.

It can help to rationalise "What's the worst that can happen?" - 99/100 it's actually nothing bad at all. Failure is just a learning experience, which is actually a good thing. Better to try and fail than never try at all.

Remember - the only thing that has a 0% success rate is not trying in the first place.

By writing a novel and seeing how easy it is. People will still say it sucks, but you'll have accomplished something even in the face of failure. Keep doing that and then you'll be golden. Failure is the foundation of perfection.
