Short-term adult performer Natasha Blu, who was rumored within industry circles last week to have passed away, died almost exactly one month ago, on May 8, AVN has confirmed. She was 23. According to the Los Angeles County Department of Medical Examiner-Coroner, Blu's death was ruled a suicide by gunshot. Blu accumulated a total of eight scene credits during her brief time in the industry, all during 2017, according to **. Those credits included titles from **, **and **. Originally from Apple Valley, California, her interests included art, dance, the gym and attending raves, and she studied psychology as a college undergraduate. She was no longer performing in adult at the time of her passing.

While she was active, Blu was represented by talent agency Society 15, whose Randy Quintana told AVN, "We are extremely saddened to hear of Natasha Blu's passing. Natasha was a fun loving, animated, happy person who loved life and loved her community. During her time with us she was eager, upbeat and positive. We here at Society 15 send her family our condolences. May she rest in peace."

No the only if you're famous part is not a good point. It can easily be discovered and impact your career and personal relationships without you ever being a big name in the biz.

It's going to come it personal relationships regardless, unless you have trust issues.
The only time I've heard of people being discovered is if they were in a big scene, or someone intentionally spread/posted the video.

Like, you're basically relying on random videos to match up with a random person who recognizes you. There's always a chance, but again, if you're not in one of 10-50 million videos, you'll probably be a ok for yeaaaars.

I'd never admit that shit for a random job though, unless I'm applying for an acting related career or another porn job. Lol, don't fucking trust your employer.

Of course, but that basically goes with anything on the Internet.

I would never argue that a porn star would easily escape the industry without a trace, but it isn't as devastating as people think. You could be someone who easily performs in 100+ videos, but the site never got much traffic, or the video just never caught on that often.

On the flip side, you could be a camgirl for like a month and be unlucky enough to entice the worst of stalkers.

Yeah, it's hard to pinpoint obviously, especially for a young person like this who there doesn't seem to be much online documentation about, in contrast to some of the big adult-entertainment suicides of the last few months who were embroiled in social media rows in addition to whatever else they were dealing with. There is a huge prevailing and almost entirely accepted drug culture around porn actors though. Combine that with how most of them actually have connections and money and time to kill, it's not like rampant drug use isn't a big factor.
