I'm cautious. I'm not a big fan of the OTS pew pew that the series turned into for awhile. However, it does look a bit survival horrorish like the old games.....so I will wait for more news on it + whatever the multiple game modes like the classic game statement that they mentioned.

Mixed reactions as of last night. I'm happy that they remade my favorite game in the series and cinematically it looks great.....but PLEASE don't be a straight up action shooter.

As fun as RE4 is they seemed to emphasize the flashlight when inside the police station so blasting zombies to bits won't be too easy with one hand

I expect freer camera but conservative gunplay

The game was really intense when you had clickers and infected charging you. Gun sway and erratic movements made shit intense.

The only only way RE2 remake will be scary I think is if they make it really hard. And make it that running away and avoiding enemies is a variable tactic.

I'm reading worrying statements though, "QTE fest", "too much shooting", "not enough tension" and whatnot ...

Do we know if it's going to offer the option of either full 3rd person (REmake style) or over the shoulder view ? Or is it just an overly optimistic rumour ?
