I was into it for the first two seasons:
Basically, it was just another generally well-made animated series, but aimed at girls instead of boys/general audiences. Writing was decent, gags were funny, songs were catchy. Lost interest after a while though. I think the fandom got huge because theres a sort of "fuck the normies!" Appeal to being a grown male liking a girls show.
