She gave birth to the baby in 2015 when the boy was 17 and he is now 20 years old. By the time he was 17, he had lived with her full time for at least a year after she was convinced his parents let her become his guardian so she could "mentor" him. She was a teacher at Buchtel High School who started grooming the kid when he was 13 to 14. When he was 16, he spent more time at home after Laura convinced the mother to let him "play" in her swimming pool In 2015, she asked the mother if she could be his full time legal guardian of which that mother agreed...but not long, she RESIGNED from her job and six months later, she got pregnant!! The baby was put up for adoption in December that year and Laura, despite the boy's parents who were having concerns, denied she was having an affair Police couldn't arrest her due to lack of evidence until the boy's father handed evidence of him talking about their relationship and baby.. She plead guilty to 3 counts of felony sexual battery..
