I liked parasite Eve but Diddy Kong Racing was waaaaaaaay funner to play overall.

We never got Parasite Eve released in Australia.. but oddly enough the sequel made it to store shelves.

I remember my friends who owned PSXs talking about the game for weeks.. and when I got to see it it was worth the hype

Parasite Eve-I got more fun out of that overall than diddy kong racing, but neither are bad choices

DKR was a highlight for the N64, way better than the other major cart racers of the era. I feel like I could pull my 64 out of the closet and still have fun playing DKR. Whereas if I could replay PE today I would only be disappointed.

I enjoyed DKR a lot, but Parasite Eve was such a gem that the choice is quite simple. PE was a genre defining game, even though it's not as famous as Silent Hill or RE1 and RE2, it is still one of the best survival horror games ever.
