Snake killed Skull Face.
I'm currently on Mission 43: Metallic Archaea [Extreme]. I'm still playing because I'm assuming I haven't gotten the ending yet. I read the game has a few other "endings" with Quiet and Eli. Keep beating the side ops until there's nothing left, you'll slowly unlock some more Missions.
You'll know when you officially beat because it'll have a bigger final credits. I think there's officially 50 missions --- Official Strawberry Eater of PotD ... Copied to Clipboard!

The real ending isn't even in the game. You have to look it up on Youtube.
