Looking back, I'm super glad that I quit DoTA 2. With the number of non-English speakers ruining my matches (namely Peruvians), and how one player could easily throw your game, it was often frustrating playing that game in solo queue.

I remember that.

Started playing around 2005 or so. Stopped in like 2011 when it just got boring and lame. I only kept playing to stay in touch with people I was friends with.

None, toxic communities are just a different kind of fun.

Smash Brothers, specifically the melee community. Not because of any kind of hate though just time moves forward in my universe and new games eventually demand more attention. For them...this is not so much a thing

Aura Kingdom. Had a huge problem with players setting up tons of bots to play through the game up to a certain point then selling the in-game currency profits for real cash. The bots killing everything made it hard to quest and the world and region chats were flooded with ads for their scheme.

Call of Duty, definitely Call of Duty.

The last Call of Duty game I played thoroughly before I lost interest is Black Ops II. Didn't like Ghosts. Only played Advanced Warfare for zombies.

To be honest, I used to be part of the "toxic" community of Call of Duty but as time passed by, I just couldn't stand its community anymore.

As of these days, I have no idea what Call of Duty and its fan community is like anymore.

Black ops 2 was my last CoD, and while the community wasn't particularly bad, I still did have fun with that game. The series went totally downhill after that though, so I haven't touched it again, especially since BF is better.

The only Battlefield game I played was BF3. These days, I don't really play Online Multiplayer games anymore (mostly because I hate being called to do stuff at home when I'm currently in a middle of a game). While my opinion seems unpopular, Black Ops II is actually my favorite CoD... well, second favorite CoD after the PC version of WaW (for zombies). Never would have thought I would have talked about CoD. I haven't talked about CoD (or played the series) for many years until today when I saw this topic.
