I think it absolutely is true that actual sex with another person scratches an itch masturbation can't reach. People who are having enough sex probably wouldn't notice the difference because they aren't going to feel that deprivation of physical intimacy.

That's not true, for instance many of these incels can easily have sex with a prostitute and it still won't solve their problem because there problem isn't about "not having sex", but rather having sex in a meaningful relationship. They want to have sex with the person they want to spend their time with, not just a one night stand deal. We all have that drive, doesn't mean it will solve the problem however because we might think we need one thing, but in fact it could be different other factors to why the feel the way they do towards women.

I used to not really care, but once I got into my 30's it started dawning on me that I'm never going to get what I want out of life(wife and kids). Once that sunk in, I've kind of been struggling to keep my depression under control. At this point, I'd love to simply meet someone and possibly become intimate or date, but even that seems impossible.
It just sucks and sometimes I can't think of a reason to keep going if all my major goals are unachievable.

I'd never blame someone for not wanting to be with me though. I don't understand that mindset at all, but I'd be lying if I said there weren't destructive/intrusive thoughts directed at myself though.

JGL actually made a movie about sex vs masturbation and it hits on a lot of interesting points. There are guys out there who can get it on with many women but still prefer masturbation over sex because pornography is one sided. You're only caring about your own self satisfaction while with sex you it's a 2 way street. You have to care about the other person and what kind of stuff they are willing to do. Some girls only prefer anal while don't like giving oral sex. It's one thing you won't learn about just by watching porn, I learned this through real life experience and talking to others who had unsatisfying sex.

This is definitely a valid point, but I think its a little exaggerated. I went for over a year without sex when my first girlfriend broke up with me. I didnt go crazy, and was even normal enough to get other girlfriends. I can see why an incel would be driven crazy by it, considering they've never experienced sex, but I feel its a little overblown to say men will go "crazy" if they dont have sex for a while.

Exactly. And quite a few of the smartest CEmen (in terms of life experience and social intelligence) realize this. Sex is a human need, man or woman. It's just on a different plane than water or food, as those are needed for personal survival, but mental and potential physical survival work are shelter and sex. Remember, people, sex is required to keep a species going, it may not be needed on an individual level of survival, but mental health and long-term physical well-being are strongly related to a healthy level of sexual activity. It's a biological imperative, to ignore that and taunt or suggest insane things towards incels shows you really don't care for the human race as a whole.
