Pretty much only you say that, though, and that's mostly because you don't interact with that many fans.

it's better than just putting more than half of the superheroes in new york city like marvel does and then wondering why they don't just help each other all the time

....logically more heroes SHOULD be in most of those cities because they're population centers. That said, there are multiple heroes in Metropolis. As for why heroes don't help each other as often, it's partly a matter of them being busy (the Fantastic Four aren't around most of the time), not being alerted to a threat, or figuring that another hero has it covered. Not everything requires a team-up.
