18 y/o Idiot, Noah Crowley, who attends Riverview High School wrote an extremely offensive message to a girl as a "promposal" where he hdl a racist sign asking her to prom and has now been ridiculed on social media!!

He posted it to snapchat just for her but that girl then saved the message and REPOSTED IT ONLINE tha quickly went viral...and not in a good way!!

Noah's racism was exposed as twitter users have branded him a racist as one user said "We have to do better than this. This is why racism is still a thing."

Another said "The fact that no one told hi this was wrong during the entire process of making it, INCLUDING the girl who said yes is a big issue and this makes me sick"

Kathy Wilks, acting principal said they are concerned about this because it was racial in nature

Noah has apologized and said "I want to sincerely apologize if i have offended anyone with the picture going around. That was not my intention. Anyoenw ho knows me..knows that that's not how we truly feel. It was a completelly joke and it went too far. Afte reading the texts and Snapchats, i truly see how i offended people. This was meant to be private as i did not want to make a big deal out of this, i'm sorry"

The district is now working with local and national civic leaders, including the NAACP to rectify this..

Eh, I buy it. If it was posted in private to a certain person, chances are it was done as a joke; stupid joke, but a joke. I'm a big believer in nothing is off limits for a joke; and I'm completely anti-PC. So to me, intent is everything; not what is said itself.

Sadly, people are going to overreact so much to this though.

If he's actually racist then I don't feel bad that he was trying to be racist in private and got outed.

On the other, people do make stupid assed jokes. I have a friend and we used to make racist jokes toward each other in high school. Him white, me black. They were dumb ass jokes because we were dumb ass kids with dumb senses of humor. We stopped making them after growing up, and I can't remember a social issue we have disagreed on.

It's up to the people around him to forgive him, and if he's not racist hopefully he's learned to not to essentially display racism on wax.

He may not be, but it looks like he'll be graduating this year and with all the racist vs that's still going on he should be more mindful of the possible consequences.
