he is contractually obligated to finish his this last month of reviews and then its done
he doesnt own the rights to the nostalgia critic name anymore either so this is the end of the nostalgia critic apparently he is getting a lawyer to try to get the rights back but since he gave the rights away willingly he doesnt really have a chance. anyway looks like that google doc really did kill channel awesome for real --- yusketeer ... this whole thing has made me nostalgic for the good ol days
when it was thatguywiththeglasses.com and you had people like nostalgia critic, nostalgia chick, obscurus lupa and everyone seemed on good terms and it was fun to watch everyone review shit then you learn everyone wasnt on good terms and i miss the innocence of my youth well not fully youth i mean i think i was 19 when nostalgia critic first started --- yusketeer ... He's wanted to get away from the Nostalgia Critic character for a while now. If he's no longer legally allowed to use that name or persona, maybe he'll finally have the opportunity to pursue other things without people expecting the next review.

Because of this he decided to combine the Nostalgia Critic with other things he wanted to do like skits and in-depth movie analysis with occasional cameo's of his other characters. And the best part about is both of them have absolutely no reason to stay or leave, so they're just hanging around for shits and giggles. Larry's got his youtube channel and it seems like he collaborates with a similar looking (and sounding) guy called DJ Slope because they often upload each other's vids on their own channels. And like others have said, CinemaSnob's been doing his own thing for a long while and never really depended on Channel Awesome for anything other than just being another place to find his videos if you weren't already familiar with his site. --- ... Honestly, NC should die but that doesn't necessarily mean Doug should stop making content altogether. Almost everyone would agree that his critical analysis on movies from yesteryear is his best trait in videos, not the jokes and gags and that can be easily shown as himself instead of a comical personality.

Channel Awesome owns the rights to the character, but they can't prevent Doug from implementing the same format for his solo work. But honestly, Channel Awesome has been losing so many of its key players that once they lose Nostalgia Critic, that it will basically cease to exist. --- I have nothing else to say ...
