I mean he has a point. There are plenty of non offensive medical terms or things like that that people use as insults. Like the word "autistic" isn't considered an insulting way to refer to the thing but people still use it as an insult. But I can also understand not wanting to be called a word that becomes a common insult even if it wasn't before.
