Then they threw the mother of all hissy fits when black people were finally given rights in the civil rights era. As the march of progress brought their kind kicking and screaming into modern times they had to be more subtle and less loud about their racism, but it was still there. Then one day a black man became president and they lost their collective minds. Then an orange horny blob capitalized on their racism acted as racist as offensive as he could: A love affair was born. He would say everything they felt they couldn't say (racism) and do everything they felt they couldn't do (going back to the "good old days" before the civil rights), and so he became their champion.
